My Border Collie has just had an opp on a thistle tracking internaly, which resulted in major surgery. plus he has anul gland problems.. (question 1) is can you take worming tablets with antibiotics in case it is worms.. (question 2)
how would i empty his anul glands manualy.

Hi, James,

1 I am not aware of any reason not to give worm tablets whilst your dog is on antibiotics. However, if you want to be on the safe side, the course of antibiotics will last for only a few days, so why not wait until the course is finished before you de-worm him?

2 If you look back up this site, you will see that I have described how to empty anal glands. Your vet should be willing to show you, anyway.
